Bibliothèque – Chez Marie, pas de pile de livres dans les coins, pas d’étagères de livres dans chaque pièce. Uniquement une grande bibliothèque qui contient tous ses livres. Elle a été faite sur mesure par son frère en cadeau d’anniversaire. « Il est arrivé un matin avec ses planches, a pris les mesures et dans la journée, c’était fini » raconte Marie qui mesure sa chance.

La bibliothèque (et quelques manies) – Celle de Françoise est faite sur mesure. L’une des consignes données à l’artisan, était la création d’étagères au format livres de poche et des placards pour cacher les magazines.

L’appartement de Séverine a un air de cabanon en bord de mer. En un coup d’œil, il raconte une partie de son histoire : une grande bibliothèque – pour une ancienne libraire c’est normal – et beaucoup de plantes qui laissent deviner sa passion pour la botanique puisque Séverine s’est reconvertie en paysagiste. Pour les origines bretonnes, en revanche, il fallait creuser un peu plus.

La configuration est originale. Élisabeth et son mari vivent dans le même immeuble – jusque-là, tout est normal – mais sur deux étages, dans deux appartements distincts. À l’étage supérieur, se trouvent leur chambre et le bureau du mari alors que la cuisine et le bureau d’Élisabeth sont en dessous.

Pour contempler, la bibliothèque qui occupe tout un mur du salon de Katy-Lise et Stéphane, on peut se laisser aller dans les canapés Togo. Moment agréable. C’est un ensemble modulable d’étagères en teck des années 50 « Royal system » du designer scandinave Poul Cadovius. « Nous l’avons acheté chez un antiquaire marseillais il y a une dizaine d’années et elle nous a suivis dans nos différents déménagements. Elle est depuis au centre de notre espace de vie. » expliquent-ils.
